[ad_1] RevSportz and Tata Steel (PC: RevSportz) There can be no better day than Diwali/Kali puja to make this announcement. I am delighted to say that Tata Steel and RevSportz will continue to be partners going forward, and the 2025 edition of the Trailblazers Conclave, presented by Tata Steel, will now be a two-and-a-half-day affair between March 6-8, 2025. One of the fundamental pillars of this collaboration has been our emphasis on multi-sport coverage. To support Indian Olympic and Paralympic sport and tell the stories which will inspire the coming generations. Cover events on ground, and create forums for dialogue between all stakeholders of sport, including athletes, policy makers and administrators. At the conclave, which is by far India’s biggest and best sports forum, we have had athletes from across the spectrum come and talk to us. Also, it is a forum where athletes and policy makers talk to each other, something that is hardly seen in the ecosystem. Take the case of Manu Bhaker. She was at a low ebb in 2023 when we invited her. At RevSportz, we have always stood by athletes when they need it more, and I remember Manu asking Abhinav Bindra a question on how to deal with adversity. Now, Manu is a double Olympic medallist and the narrative is different. But, in 2023, it was fascinating to hear Abhinav speak to her about dealing with challenges and not getting overawed. Our two other key areas of interest are women’s empowerment and paralympic sport. In para sport, India has turned a new leaf by winning 29 medals in Paris, and the chances are that we could make it to the top 10 in the medal table at Los Angeles 2028. The important thing is to make sure that the momentum is sustained. That we don’t forget our para athletes, and wake up only two years from now, ahead of the Asian Para Games in Japan. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here RevSportz Trailblazer (PC: RevSportz) To do so, we have decided to invite a number of our champions to the conclave, and also possible stars of the future, to interact with each other and tell us their stories of adversity and triumph. Each of these athletes has a story full of life lessons that we all stand to learn a lot from. A number of India’s leading Paralympic athletes and medallists like Sumit Antil, Harvinder Singh, Navdeep Singh, Yogesh Kathunia, Nishad Kumar and Manasi Joshi have already confirmed their participation. As it happens, 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of International Women’s Day, and it is only fitting that we celebrate women’s empowerment on March 8, 2025. Paris was the first gender-equal games and it is time every other sports event takes strides towards becoming so. The support from Tata Steel will help us make the conclave even bigger, and further help us in making a tangible difference to the Indian sports ecosystem. In fact, I still remember my first interaction with Mr TV Narendran, MD, Tata Steel, three years ago. I was on the verge of setting up RevSportz (we complete three years on December 1), and had reached out to him for support. His first question was whether I was keen on supporting Indian Olympic and Paralympic sport. Since then, the partnership has only grown stronger, and the work done speaks for itself. Here is to more stories and more meaningful work. A sincere thank you to Mr Narendran, Mr Chanakya Chaudhary, Mr Sarvesh Kumar and everyone at Tata Steel for the support. Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu ''Sidhu Moosewala'' Shot dead by a police encounter near Amritsar, Punjab on 22 May 2022.
He was killed in his hood.
Just like Tupac Shakur, Sidhu Moosewala came from a very poor background ''Pind'', farm.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was born in the village of Moosa in the Mansa District of Punjab.
Moose Wala studied at Guru Nanak Dev Ji Engineering College and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering in 2016 in Ludhiana. He admired and was influenced by rapper Tupac Shakur. He started listening to hip-hop music as a student in sixth grade, and was trained in music by Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.
Sidhu, managed to leave his hood and make it big overseas. His nature of helping others and caring from his family, in my opinion resonated during his adolescent years as he managed to provide for his household with poverty and the everyday destruction in Indian politics.
If you think about it, Tupac was love, Biggie was money. Tupac grew up in the hood with his mum after he lost his dad which stood as a refuge for poor people. Biggie went to boarding school and rarely spent much time with family. Tupac needed investment when the world fell on him, which made him drop a triple platinum album all eyez on me. Biggie had ice, carats and gold.
Tupac rapped about his mother, so did Sidhu Moosewala.
Both had purpose, and it was love and the ability to provide. Their kindness was used against them, most people would say the men that followed these three legends are bad influencers. Kobe Bryant had a purpose and he lost his life and his daughter in an helicopter crash. Are you serious, you telling me the LA Lakers are bad?
My point is that the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Character Rocky Balboa said that.
Its a shame that the people that create change and miracles for others have a very short lifespan, others see, others envy, others pray, you are gray.
Section 295 was penalized on Sidhu because he wore a turban and blasphemed guns. When the protection order was pulled, they shot him, *encounter in a black G - Wagon. Shot in his hood.
He made modern kids speak Punjabi when their own mothers could not teach under a western influence. He provided for his pind, his mother, his family even in times of struggles when farmers got their land and veggies taken away from them.
In the end. Shot dead, as he changed the world.
I am Punjabi, and we still get rolled. Survival since 1469 AD.
Only people still alive is me and Eminem..... Legend.

The surge began with a silver in men’s discus throw – F56 by Yogesh Kathuniya, followed by gold for Nitesh Kumar in men’s singles SL3 badminton. Badminton continued to bring success with four additional medals, including silvers for Thulasimathi Murugesan and Suhas LY and bronzes for Manisha Ramadass and Nithya Sre Sumathy Sivam.
The athletics events continued to deliver medals, with Sumit Antil winning gold in the men’s javelin throw – F64 and the archers securing a bronze in the mixed team compound open event. High jumper Praveen Kumar won India’s sixth gold in the men’s T64 final, and Hokato Hotozhe Sema earned a bronze in men’s shot put – F57. Navdeep Singh added a seventh gold with his victory in the men’s javelin throw – F41, and Simran earned bronze in the women’s 200m – T12.
